Dynamic Electric Seat moving? - stotty5 - 19-08-2013 08:45pm

Had my Evoque in for its first service last week and since coming back from the dealers the Electric drivers seat moves back when you press the stop/start button and then when you first get in and press the start button repositions the seat at the correct high/depth it was at when you last drove it.

I'm guessing its a software upgrade as it never did this before. My car is a 5 door version so I never had any issues getting in or out before? Confused

Has anyone else noticed this change after a service before??

Cheers

This is an option in the settings menu. Something like easy ingress/egress or similar. You can turn it off using the menu in the cluster.

It's probably this has been set in the menu between the dials. (About page 19 of the Manual)

EASY ENTRY/EXIT
When Easy entry/exit is configured, the driver’s
seat will automatically lower when the ignition
is switched off and the door release lever is
used. Upon returning to the vehicle, when the
driver’s door is closed and the seat belt is
fastened, the seat will return to it’s previously
set position.
Note: Some vehicle specifications require the
ignition to be turned on.

Thanks Phil that's it, found it in settings this morning - it's Easy Entry/Exit.

I expect the dealers disconnected the battery at the service and that has reset your options in the set-up menus back to the default settings. They possibly did the BMS and Stop/Start ( if its a manual gearbox car) software re-flash too
