Parking sensors to cameras - Mdavenport555 - 10-08-2013 12:01am

I've got an ed4 with tech pack and have the front and rear parking sensors

I saw on eBay some evoque cameras going quite cheap and wondered if it was a simple matter of swapping a sensor out for a camera and would this work?

Do you need any more software installing to make the cameras active in the car on the screen?

It isn't a straight swap as the camera is housed in the number plate recess not where a parking sensor is

I have an SD4 Dyno with both parking sensors and 5 cameras. Camera are separate to p sensors so swapping wont work. just an observation.....know owt about sat nav updates?Question

The tie up between the sensors and the cam is here in a picture of the front screen, the red bars are generated by the parking sensors that are located low down on the tail. The cam is higher up, just below the metal-a-like trim bar across the boot

If you zoom in you might just see the park distance sensors on the black trim in between the rear fog lights.

I don't think I have a god photo showing the camera lense location
