How to check auto levelling on xenon is working? - deadliner - 27-05-2013 10:53pm

Hello Guys.

How do I check, auto levelling on my adaptive xenons is working.

Recently I noticed I have my beam very low. I took it to my dealer and now they are a little too high. I thought some computer is making sure they are in optimal position. Not some guy with screw driver.

1. Can I set them to be a little lower?
2. How exactly autoleveling works? Can I check it out?
3. How do I find what is the correct level of the beam?

I know, dealer should be responsible for all of the above. But I would like to understand it myself anyway.
Thank you!

Not much help but this isn't my first Land Rover with adaptive xenon headlights but it is the first where they haven't done a little self check "dance" on start-up or if stopped in traffic at night on a slope.
