I used to use Vpower petrol in my A5 and it made a bit of a difference. Tried Vpower diesel in my Evoque and it didnt appear to make any difference in either power or consumption. I might give the Nitro stuff a try if the price differnce is the same as vpower ie +7p/l

All we get on the Island is 'Diesel' and 'Petrol' no choice of brand, no supermarked discounts etc. My only choice is to avoid a few of the older outlets with 50+ year old tanks full of sludge.

Advertising on TV now too...

Filled up with this yesterday (always use premium fuel anyway) at my local station.

I have no idea if it makes a difference or not - I suspect as the marketing is intended for - it just makes me feel better. I noticed no performance improvement, but then have never really considered the Evoque as a performance vehicle in that sense.

It does continue to make a difference on the wallet Sad[/align]

So, do we now have a choice of three grades at Shell stations: Basic, V Power and V Power Nitro? Or has Nitro replaced V Power?

I believe its just a rebranding of v power.

Probably might help the cleaning abilities on older cars, but newer cars shouldn't be suffering with any deposit build up yet hopefully so performance shouldn't be suffering anyway.
