Long wheel base Evoque - Straydox - 17-04-2013 12:02am

Was driving past LR's HQ at Gaydon today and saw two Evoques in the factory prototype camo colours that were clearly long wheel base versions... Signature head-lights/obvious Evoque glass lines/squashed roof profile - Evoques for definite.

They were moving slowly around the island outside the main site entrance - it looked like both the rear passenger doors and rear quarter panels were longer than the current production car - was nicely done/good proportions looked 'right'.

Yep, certainly could have been - based on Evoque platform, it looked identical to an Evoque - same width/height/roof profile but with a longer rear quarter panel - same rear lights as well.

Got followed by one from Gaydon village to BMHC this morning........... Seems to be quite a bit taller than the Evoque so I wonder what sort of transmission they will have?
Also on the M40 two new RRS in full grey, white and black arctic camouflage.
