My Barolo Baby Is Born!! - The Valeter - 10-02-2013 11:34pm As of the 7th February 2013 it was born. We went to see it on the line at Halewood in Liverpool. Well worth trying to organise if you can. Am trying to work out how to do the Photobucket upload as they keep changing the damn thing just after I learnt how to do it last time lol but here is a link. http://s260.beta.photobucket.com/user/ExecutiveValeter/library/Barolo%20Black%20Evoque%20Pure%20Tech ![]() ![]() RE: My Barolo Baby Is Born!! - slee18 - 11-02-2013 02:55am Nice. To be honest no, I saw the car a bit further down the line when they placed the centre console on the floor. I have a photo of the build sheet & did notice a box with "No Rear Vent" in it. I havn't had a problem with the speaker wiring so I didn't check. One thing I did notice was it said on the sheet "SPARE" as in spare wheel. I didn't order this at time of order but did ask 2 weeks ago but was told it was too late so not sure what happened there so if it is there I can sell the spacesaver & tool kit I have with me at home. It is & is all unused. The only item I don't have is the polystyrene foam holder that goes on the boot floor well as I couldn't remove that otherwise the false floor would have ended up in the well. ![]() RE: My Barolo Baby Is Born!! - Americano - 11-02-2013 04:57pm My date is on the next 13th of march....I am just planning a trip for that day from Rome. Would you pls provide me with some more information about this idea? Have you to boock your visit in advance or is it enought to arrive at Halewood in the morning and ask at the reception for a courtesy visit? Have you to pay for this tour? The pic you made is it really of your future car or is of a generic one? Tks in advance for yor reply!! ![]() RE: My Barolo Baby Is Born!! - JohnM - 11-02-2013 08:07pm I would like to know details too ![]() RE: My Barolo Baby Is Born!! - The Valeter - 11-02-2013 08:42pm You can't just turn up there & hope to get in. You need to contact Landrover Experience at Halewood which is literally just accross the road from the factory & speak to Danielle (normally) on 0151 448 4023. This would be arranged as a normal factory tour which is £45 per person. Sometimes your dealer will/can organise this depending on how helpfull they are and if you are lucky enough they may pay for it. Either way you will require a number from the dealer which I think is known as the order code/order number as this will enable Danielle & the factory track the car on it's build day so you can meet the birth of your car at a certain place on the production line as obviously it being on a 3 mile long production line that is constantly moving it can be quite hard to be in the right place at the right time. Hope this helps. There is a good hotel just 2 miles up the road in Speke called The Crowne Plaza (Liverpool John Lennon) that we stayed in both times. |
