I think I've read that on another post somewhere.
Plus my bonnet catch needs a firm shut or I get a mislock and 2 beeps so I guess there is a relationship.

No mention of the bonnet switch for me.
The only hardware changed was the sounder unit.

At this moment in time they have not provided us with exactly what the problem was, however I will probably have this by next week, which I can share with you?

Kind regards,
Liam

Liam, any news on the cause and can you share the range of VINs effected?

Thanks

I hope this isn't like measles, my alarm has gone off twice in the last 4 nights between 0200 and 0300 for no apparent reason. It could have been the storm force winds we had here last night rocking the car, but there was no reason for the previous time. I recently had another software upgrade for the BMS so I hope this isn't related............

RE: Alarm behaviour - MarkLondon - 16-04-2013 05:36pm

Mine is booked in for Thursday/Friday for the upgrade, so I'm hoping that these will be the last few days of being woken up in the early hours. I'll be asking exactly what has been done.

RE: Alarm behaviour - cjfp - 16-04-2013 05:44pm

Mine is going in soon for update as per post #185 - garage says it takes about 30mins.

RE: Alarm behaviour - Offroadstu - 16-04-2013 06:15pm

Mine is now back in for the final software to be loaded. The loan 13 reg Evoque car has Pirelli Verdi all weather 20" tires.

RE: Alarm behaviour - Nantmoel - 16-04-2013 09:59pm

I have today received a text message confirming that my Evoque is booked in for 14:00 on Thursday! Well again we will watch this space.

LR, you now have one fuming customer.......my Evoques alarm has gone off AGAIN, just the siren for 20 seconds, that fix worked well didn't it. Both barrels loaded and waiting for the service dept to open later this morning!!!! Not bloody impressed at all.
