Leather/Suede Seats. - The Valeter - 24-12-2012 11:28pm Anyone got any decent pictures of the leather/suede seats that are on non UK models please? RE: Leather/Suede Seats. - vcanals - 28-12-2012 11:04am Let´s see if these can help: I´ve seen these live, and also the ebony version. I must admit that the ebony looked much better. From my personal experience, owning an old car with part suede seats, I can tell you it wears worse than leather. I care my car meticulously and the suede parts of the seat are in very bad condition, while the leather is in perfect condition. I hope I have helped RE: Leather/Suede Seats. - mark_n - 28-12-2012 10:23pm Those suede seats look terrible! RE: Leather/Suede Seats. - The Valeter - 29-12-2012 12:37am I really like the Suede/Leather. Thanks for the photo. Alcantara (feax seude) does not generally wear well but actual seude does as I have a customer with a Porche Cayenne with Suede/Leather seats & he has had that for 3.5 years and they are as good as new. RE: Leather/Suede Seats. - XFullFatTim - 29-12-2012 05:31am It isn't a popular option on RRS or D4 as it isn't suede that LR uses, it is Alcantra and those I know who have it say it shows dirt easily and wears badly. Try searching over on RRSport.co.uk and see if you turn up anything. I think most people go for the leather option when there is Alcantra as the standard with RRS RE: Leather/Suede Seats. - berlin2011 - 29-12-2012 07:11am Valeter, a few more pics. RE: Leather/Suede Seats. - slee18 - 29-12-2012 07:23am Darker colors are much better looking the the light colors. Maybe get contrasting colors will look better then the tan look RE: Leather/Suede Seats. - The Valeter - 29-12-2012 03:30pm Looks really nice especially in the black - much better looking IMO than plain black leather which I think looks rather bland especially on the Pure/Dynamic. I will need to find out whether it is actually seude as I have put in a special request to Landrover for it to be fitted to a new Pure should I buy one. If it can't I would have Cirrus as that has a nice contrast (Grey/Black). RE: Leather/Suede Seats. - vcanals - 01-01-2013 11:16am According to my Evoque catalog, it is made from recycled material, and is called "Dinamica", a registered trademark of MIKO S.rl. You can check it here: http://www.dinamicamiko.com/miko/gamma-prodotti/auto RE: Leather/Suede Seats. - Straydox - 01-01-2013 11:45am In previous Audis I've always ordered the synthetic suede material called 'Alcantara' a I prefer it to full leather - it's warmer in winter and more pleasant to sit on in the summer - wish LR would offer it as an option in the UK market. |
