James RE: Hello & Happy Christmas! - XFullFatTim - 23-12-2012 05:59am We will be having a Braai RE: Hello & Happy Christmas! - James @ Grange Barnet LR - 23-12-2012 10:54am (23-12-2012 05:59am)XFullFatTim Wrote: We will be having a Braai Braai.....? Heading across the Indian Ocean then or you just happen to have one one board regardless as to where you are? RE: Hello & Happy Christmas! - XFullFatTim - 23-12-2012 11:04am We have Barbies/ Braai's/ BBQs if the weather is suitable about once a month. Christmas and New Year are good excuses to dig out the charcoal and the split oil drum and cook up the suckling pig, tiger prawns, T bones, beef burgers etc, pity we are a dry ship although I do have two cases of alcohol free beer at $75 a case in stock in my bonded stores for these special occasions! We aren't an oil tanker or gas carrier so BBQs aren't generally a problem. Being a Safmarine ship (South African Marine Corporation) I have a large percentage of SA personnel onboard so it's a Braai not a Barbie or a BBQ! Weather s also very suitable here on the east coast of India, it's a cool 29c outside today, a bit overcast though. Will try to get a photo for you! RE: Hello & Happy Christmas! - J77 - 23-12-2012 03:17pm Well its high winds and heavy rain, with many places flooded over here. |
