Embarrassed Dumb question: how do you switch the radio off - not just turn the volume down? Rolling Eyes

Don't feel bad, it was three weeks before I worked out the radio could be turned off Embarrassed

...........it is effectively the mute button as well. Much has been said already bout it not being available on the steering wheel.

My car doesn't have the SWYS system, so the button on the steering wheel that woud be used for it, is used for turning the radio off.

Actually, now that you mention SWYS, iirc you can tell the car to switch the'"Radio Off"

It doesnt turn it off it just mutes the sound.
To turn off properly press and hold the main volume knob on the dashboard

Well, when pressed it says audio off, to me that's the radio off. If I press the button on the stereo itself it says audio off. But I will have a play around later.

IIRC a quick press turns off the audio, a long press turns off the screen as well
