Yep that is what Autocar have road tested in this week's issue and they rate it as the best model in the range despite not being available in the UK! They reckon that apart from being a bit thirsty the Si4 is THE engine to have in the 5 door and reckon LR has missed out on a model that it should have in the range here. Their car also didn't have the Magneride and they reckon that with the lighter engine in the front the car rides and steers in a way that no SUV has ever driven before.....................

Surely you can buy an Si4 Dynamic 5 door? It's the Si4 Prestige 5 door you can't buy in the UK.
Then you read What Car who are very ho-hum about the Si4 Coupe. All this stuff about torque - it's power which gets you going, torque just allows you and the gearbox to be lazy.
Anyway, I'm pleased Autocar like the Si4, I hope I will too.

Outside of the UK, you can get any engine in Pure, Prestige or Dynamic and both 3d or 5d.

The pictures in Autocar show a Dynamic outside yet a picture of Prestige inside. The point Autocar we were making was they were driving a petrol car with 19" wheels and no AD which they seemed to think is the best combo and not available in the UK.

@mark_n Power is what makes you 2 seconds faster at the traffic lights. For everything else in real life driving, torque is what you want!
