SSM60837 - Service Message Reset Procedure - bell-auto-services - 16-11-2012 07:21pm Reference SSM60837 Models Range Rover Evoque / L538 Title Service Message Reset Procedure Category Electrical Last modified 16-Nov-2012 00:00:00 Symptom 206000 Warning Indicators Content Issue: Techician finds it difficult or cannot reset the service message when displayed in the Cluster Cause: Clarification of reset procedure Action: 1. Technician navigates to the last menu option in the "service menu" (This requirement is to have the user in a specific location where holding the navigate down button doesn't perform any function). 2. Technician releases the navigate down button 3. Technician presses and holds the "trip button" 4. Technician presses and holds the "navigate down" button. **Key criteria are the sequence of the presses.** 5. Both Buttons are pressed together for 10 seconds 6. As there is no confirmation if procedure has been successful, Cycle the ignition to check if the reset has been completed.
