Service Menu Video - PhilSkill - 14-11-2012 11:40pm

Thanks to Speary for the info.

Not a great video, but a quick look at the service menu...

Tells me the Software has not been updated as it's running July 2011 software. I wish LR would publish the versions...

Also includes things like touch screen calibration and screen lighting settings, if you choose to play with them...

So you have the Jan 2012 software...

Be good to know a few more peoples build dates against software versions... and if it's been serviced yet...

Looks like there was a techy slip up with the screen Phil...................... all the pages have the leaping Jaguar logo on them no LR ovals!

RE: Service Menu Video - PhilSkill - 15-11-2012 12:23pm

Indeed Tim... straight out of the Jaguar... I notice info about the USB status of ports 1 and 2 so will be having a look at them when my USB locks up again!

Nick from Customer Services got back to me explaining the Diagnosis machines that the dealers use will automatically download new software if it is required when thay are connected... So since my "Service Required" indicator has been reset I assume this must have been done. Just hope the dealers have updated their Diagnostic machines....!

my screen was blacked out at the dealer yesterday. he should look for a update because of a shuffle malfunction and the system doesn´t come on again... have to drive home in a Alfa Romeo ..... Mito... grrr. I hope it is only a problem with the diagnostic software level.

Mine says;

Overall software 3310_110721

FPGA version 0x0200D074

What does it mean, do I have to twist their arm to upgrade or it will be done by default?

It's one of those fridays of september 2011 built truck and already been serviced last month. So far the truck has been to service bay over 10 times in one year and nothing much has been done exceptional, minus lip service. Do I've the right to get pissed off?

That is shocking Invoke - all the same problem or lots of assorted problems? Mine has been in once since purchase, for the routine service, unless you call the run out with the Lookers service manager at 10 days old to agree that my window seals were unacceptably noisy - still are as 14 months later they are still in back order at the factory!

All assorted, from loose plastics to rattles to malfunction switches to what not... As if all the reported problems are exclusively added in my truck... disappointing indeed.
