ADZ I'm sure that it would attract far more attention if they had the Defender's regular lady driver on display rather than Daniel Craig.............

I didn't realise that you could get a Defender with an auto box, unless that was specifically designed/modified for the film's car.

Modified. Twisted performance and companies like that convert Defenders to autos. I think there is also a company offering the TDV6 2.7 for the Defender.

IIRC BAS was involved with a TDv8 conversion of a Defender too. Company called Ashcroft also do Auto conversion for Defenders, used to cost £9000 on top of Defender to be converted. At one time it was quite popular
