Found some real close up pics of the 'soft touch' stuff LR have covering the instrument panel on the non Prestige cars.

First up, Pure with Cirrus/Lunar

Can't quite remember which car had the textured leather?

Great Pictures .... they show the differences very well.

Remember you can upgrade this element for under £600 - (this includes both sides of the dashboard). So if you like the "Dynamic Plus" dashboard but don't want / need / like / afford the "Plus" seats this is an alternative. Just so you know........

Yes, I don't think the dash covering in the dynamic is great, it's a sort of rubberised cloth. Judging by the wonky stitching, looks like they are having trouble working with it. The material is probably good for its type but it's a bit agricultural. Good to know you can have it changed. Does that £600 include fitting and VAT?

Dynamic Plus has stitched Oxford leather for the dash topper and the midsection not the "soft touch material". It also has glossy Black trim finisher on the dash where the Prestige has polished wood-a-alike. The dash of the OG Dynamic I drove at the Unleashed event was OK, didn't look too much like 1970's Japanese fake leather. My FFRR doesn't have real leather on the dash, but it is very very hard to tell it isn't leather the quality and finish is so good
The last of Berlin's photos above is the Pure fake leather finish

That includes VAT but not fitting. It LOOKS like its the last thing to go on the dash so it should be a pretty straight forward job - but don't quote me.
When I was trying to talk myself into a Black interior this is what I came up with. I thought the Dynamic Plus interior a bit to OTT just to get an Oxford leather dashboard..... plus I think the look suggests a level of performance the current engines don't deliver.

All FFRR (MY10 onwards) have a leather dash topper Tim Smile

I like the textured 'leather' look above!

I so agree - the sports seats remind of those humble hatches you see on lowered suspension and huge exhaust pipes. Too much mouth and not enough trousers. I'm banking on the Dynamic dash being "OK", would prefer not to have to go rooting in the parts bin.

Lol! I've gone for dynamic plus. Aarrggghhhhh I hope it's not gonna be that bad. It does look a bit upmarket than a boy racers interior. Wink
