Any one else had the tailgate open itself, when the car's parked up and double-locked?

It's happened to me twice now, although both times I was parked outside a well known AV supplier in Tunbridge Wellls - perhaps there's lots of radio interference flying around !!

Hope you don't have any neighbours who put up all those LED out doors Christmas decorations...................... house next door but one to me festoons their house with those cheap Chinese made Santa's and Rudolphs, Elves and "Merry Christmas" signs, played havoc with the remote locking on my previous cars due to radio interference - wasn't home last Christmas so I don't know if the car was affected or not and when i got home it was locked. My last RRS and FFRR would not lock from more than about 1m away from the car if the neighbours outside decorations were switched on!

No but on Saturday I couldn't close it, I had to do it manually (it is electric but wouldn't do any thing). I turned the car off/fired up again & all was well?

Is this perhaps something to do with the car thinking they keys are still inside, and therefore not letting you lock yourself out?

The keys were in my pocket, in the demo room.

Lots of I/R and radio signals flying around (several demo rooms, and they were busy) so I suppose it coulkd have been interference.

This I have had, after closing it and having the close rejected as the boot was full, so gave it a helping hand to close on 2nd attempt, next time it would not close so closed manaully, after a full reset it was all fine again.
