Hi There,
Has anyone tried to install a TV tuner into their Evoque? Regret not getting the tech pack and now want to get the TV going. Seen some after market tuners but not sure if it will be compatible with my car as I did not upgrade to the tech pack.

Would have thought a good car audio specialist could do it though it may depend on the loom.

You will keep all your original functions without any change. So that will be great.
You will need:
- TDTLR500 - Pack with MIDLR500 and DASM21HD (TDT HD + USB Multimedia) with touch control
Price: 700 + 21% VAT = 847 €
- ZCDVAS30 - Adapter from RCA to FACKRA. It is necessary because you have original camera.
Price: 16,86 + 21% VAT = 20,40
Total: 847 + 20,40 = 867,74 €
We will need your complete address to calculate the cost of delivery to you.
Also you will get TV FREE function for original Player and Original USB Divx Player that you have installed in your car.

I have Evoque with factory fit 8" screen and built in sat nav,dvd player and rear camera.
I would like to add a digital tv tuner, video in motion and front camera.
Can you let me know what parts i need and also trade prices.
If I wanted to connect iPhone 4s, would i be able to view iPhone dispay on vehicle screen, would iPhone need to be jailbroken?

My next question is does the evoque come with the TV aerial installed as part of the basic wiring loom as I don't want to install an extra aerial?

Have a look on the rear side glass - on the 3 door that is the full rear side window and on the 5 door the small window between the C and D pillars. IIRC if you have thin yellowish wiring stuck onto BOTH glasses then they are both "diversity" antenna and one is for the DAB radio/ TMC and the other is for FM/AM/TV - I'm not 100% sure of this but I think you might find all Evoques have both even if they don't have TV as it is cheaper to buy in and install only one style of side glass and it looks much more attractive than putting a rod antenna on the roof of the car!
