Can anyone please advise if there s a "running in" period for the evoque from new? Think ive seen it mentioned in a thread somewhere but can't seem to find it. Thank u

Hi
There is no run in period as such for the evoque, or many other cars these days for that matter but I did look after the engine for the first 1500 miles or so. no labouring, acceleration above 2000

What he said, just take it easy on the right foot for a approx 1 month, but then again I did see a valeter driving someone new RRE car last week back from the fuel station ragging the hell out of it. I hope it wasnt anyones car from here.

I started towing my boat, but only after the first 3000 kn Smile well run in now

Go easy on the brakes for a few hundred miles too to let them bed in evenly.
