So my order went in on the 21/07/12 and expected delivery date by the end of nov now what?
Dealer was in touch last fri because I made a change to the order.
So what is generally the next step? Dealer mentioned that Iam not likely to hear from him until the end of sep I think....does this sound about right if my est delivery date is mid/end nov?
Other than chase the dealer is there any other way to track the progress of my order online?
Iam quite happy not to chase him if I take his word but having read a few other posts Iam sort of thinking I should be on his back a little more frequent.
Dealer did email to say I can chase him anytime if I have any queries.
Any advice would be great or let me know what you experienced with your order.

At this stage, I don't think there's much you can do but wait and get straight in your head about the exact spec you require. In September they'll call you to firm the order up and get the order sheet signed. But don't let it slip into Oct, if no call then be on their case.

Thanks for the reply.
My spec won't change....it's all very easy to get carried away adding this and that and I have a tight budget.
I am however slightly concerned about reading all the problems various people are experiencing but Iam hoping the 2013 will be an improvement!

Fortunately the bias tends to be people with a problem write about it, people happy tend to drive it... So don't worry there are thousands of trouble free Evoques out there, including mine after a couple of silly issues, one of the early ones. The dealer won't have much more info till he's ready to allocate your order into the system from his allocation, you just need to make sure that happens in Sept if possible.

Lucky you, i orderd early july and got an epexted delivery date between december and january

I ordered 31st July my dealer is quoting end oct or 1st week November

R22, your delay is possibly because of you have specced a less popular colour, there are at least 2 others on here with Mauritius Blue cars on order for delivery around the same time

Hmm, and what could be the reason for my delay
, I mean I orderd early July, and I chose a common colour, hopefully this is just a worst case scenario and not very likely to happen.

Lonny, you must be one of the very few who has specced the Pre-heat/ Park Heat - I wonder if that could be the cause, unless Park heat is a standard feature on german market cars.
