reverse dipping mirrors - Bruno787 - 21-07-2012 03:26pm i noticed my car dips both mirrors when reversing, is there a way only the curbside mirror will tilt? RE: reverse dipping mirrors - XFullFatTim - 21-07-2012 05:57pm yes................................... while reverse gear is selected you set the driver's side one up to be the same as in forward driving and set the kerbside one to the position you want it to dip to RE: reverse dipping mirrors - PhilSkill - 26-07-2012 12:01pm This is a neat feature, to be able to adjust the forward and reverse mirror positions seperately. Is this a standard feature or do you have to have the power fold mirrors? It took me a while to figure out that mirror position is saved with each of my seat's memory settings too. I would get in my car, hit my seat memory I liked, and readjusted my mirrors but after setting the mirrors I wouldn't save the seat position! I didn't know they were related. So the next time I hit the seat position the mirrors would be out of place again. I might even give it another go as I had switched the function off as I thought the dip was to a fixed position. makes sense really! So to program the reverse dip mirror (s) you need to be in reverse and set your setting to your desired position, then what do you do to make sure it's saved in the memory ? 2. is there also a way to program both mirrors to dip when reversing but not all the time - only upon the push of a single button. ( other than manually doing it through the mirror controls ) ? This would be a handy feature as certain streets have parallel parking on both sides of the road. 3. Is there a way to program the camera views to automatically show the side views as well as the rear views as well as the reverse view as soon as you go into reverse ? ( other then manually hunting around through various menus - while traffic backs up behind you ) RE: reverse dipping mirrors - PhilSkill - 01-08-2012 10:48pm 1. set position thats it, leave reverse it will remember it. (do for all seat memories I believe) 2. not to my knowledge 3. I dont have surround cams, but doubt it. |
