obvious things here, are the FFRR has the evoque wheels on it? I thought they were a different PCD? (I know they could have remanufactuered the wheels).

And the lights on the sport look like they might have a hit of evoque in it? (with the 'tail' off to the side)

Interesting that neither car appears to have any side vents same as the Evoque, I wonder if they create too much drag and LR's wind tunnel guys have done away with them and used the Evoque system? Of course they may just be covered by the "wrap" - Pity that LR don't offer those wraps as an option, then we could all have what look like preproduction cars too!
I suspect the RRS could be a "parts bin" special and has Evqoue headlights as part of the disguise.

No change than. The FFRR still looks the same as it did in the 70'S Very Happy .
I'm not knocking the design it's always been a big winner all over the world & as the saying goes "if it's not broken, don't fix it". So the shape stays the same, but just update the interior & bumpers.

I ask the question. Do we want LR to go down the route of BMW/Audi & design one car making it in small, medium, large & extra large?

That FFRR looks like its very close to a production mule. If you look closely both the front and rear lights seem to go around the corner (covered by the wrap) just like the rendered spy shots somebody posted.

The RRS may well be more of a surprise as its so heavily disguised.

Interestingly both have Evoque mirrors.

I didn't realise that the Sport was getting a facelift. Thought it'd around 2015.

Time I saw a test mule on the M40 on Sunday night, this one seemed to have side vents, all be it they were covered in a wrap. He wasn't hanging about, but then again he did have a RRE up his arse doing some interesting speeds Very Happy

Wow you can tell I'm new to this game, your observations are brilliant, I just saw through it all, couldn't even see the wheels!

I wonder if they will introduce contrast roofs as an option like on the Evoque?

PLEASE NO!

WE do NOT want to go down that route.

the 3 series 5 series and 7 series all look the same.. sometimes its like the 3 series just didn't grow as much and the 7 series ate too many bananas.

I love the fact that there's variety... life is full of diversity.. cars should be too.
