Broken down on the M6 today near penrith - brough74 - 22-06-2012 08:58pm On my way back from an argument with the dealer there was a red dynamic 5 dr broken down on the side of the M6 near jubction 41. A recovery wagon was there RE: Broken down on the M6 today near penrith - ceebee - 23-06-2012 01:53pm Brough, maybe the driver lives in Glasgow and calculated the distance home based on the Manufacturers MPG claims. Then ran out of fuel 200 miles short!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RE: Broken down on the M6 today near penrith - brough74 - 23-06-2012 03:18pm Maybe they did lol but they were heading south, i think it had a white roof but the weather was bad so i was looking more at the road. MPG is awful in these cars im 33% down on what they claim. They maybe thought they had enough fuel to reach penrith RE: Broken down on the M6 today near penrith - ceebee - 23-06-2012 05:17pm The MPG should improve over time, but it's going to take an awful long time to reach the manufacturers claims. I was getting 31-33 when new, but now with 7000 miles done, the last 1000 miles have shown 37 MPG, so its heading the right way. I would be happy with 40+?
