Brough, maybe the driver lives in Glasgow and calculated the distance home based on the Manufacturers MPG claims.

Then ran out of fuel 200 miles short!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe they did lol but they were heading south, i think it had a white roof but the weather was bad so i was looking more at the road. MPG is awful in these cars im 33% down on what they claim.

They maybe thought they had enough fuel to reach penrith

The MPG should improve over time, but it's going to take an awful long time to reach the manufacturers claims.

I was getting 31-33 when new, but now with 7000 miles done, the last 1000 miles have shown 37 MPG, so its heading the right way.

I would be happy with 40+?

I think I've seen more X3's and X5's sat on the hard shoulder than I have Evoques, Discos, RrS's and FFRR's, also have seen a lot of Cayennes with open bonnets under motorway bridges in the wet............
