Do Monkeys like Evoques - doug - 02-05-2012 08:32pm Strange title for a thread, i know but read on. I forgot to tell you all about this over the Easter holiday. My family found are selfs with 24hrs to spare after my wife got the days wrong for are flight out of Luton airport thats not the story read on. After booking are selfs back in to the hotel we had just left. we looked for something to do for the day. Woburn Safari Park is only 30mins down the M1 my wife tells the kids, s##t i think to mysel new car+wild animals= trip to boby shop I won't bore you all about the road safari tour, but it is worth going. But anyone who has ever been will know that the monkeys are well know for trying to nick car parts of the vehicles as they drive though. This is my point now. Do monkeys like Evoques, the answer is "NO". Having watched all the cars in front of us having there wiper blades & aerials pulled about & it was very bad news if your car had roof rails. It was now are turn to drive though the monkeys, lots of them looked at the car & just run off to the next vehicle. with the glass roof & camera ready i was hopeing that at least one whould jump up but NO. one babby monkey did give it a go on the side wing, but could'nt get a hold on the paint work (Gtechinq ). I put it all down to the signature day time running lights. which look like a big cat. So the car made it though untouched. Do Monkeys like Evoques - Kimv - 02-05-2012 08:41pm This would actually be good material for a Gtechniq TV commercial... RE: Do Monkeys like Evoques - XFullFatTim - 02-05-2012 08:45pm At Blair Drummond Safari Park up here the monkeys did so much damage to visitors' cars that the operators of the park had to remove them, they are now banished to an island on an ornamental lake, so no more fun watching them stripping wiper blades off or stealing aerials etc now. |
