Maybe I should have got tyre insurance? - ED209 - 27-04-2012 08:12pm So thought i had a slow puncture 2 weeks ago, pumped tyre up and by this morning it was flat again. So i bite the bullet and take it to a friends garage for him to find and fix a puncture, turns out my almost brand new tyre had a nice big screw through it. He reconed it was touch and go for the tyre because it was fairly close to the sidewall. It was repaired but i recon if i had been a stranger and he wanted to flog a tyre it would not have been! Lucky escape as i didnt fancy £180 to replace an almost brand new tyre!
