Maybe I should have got tyre insurance?
So thought i had a slow puncture 2 weeks ago, pumped tyre up and by this morning it was flat again.
So i bite the bullet and take it to a friends garage for him to find and fix a puncture, turns out my almost brand new tyre had a nice big screw through it.
He reconed it was touch and go for the tyre because it was fairly close to the sidewall. It was repaired but i recon if i had been a stranger and he wanted to flog a tyre it would not have been!
Lucky escape as i didnt fancy £180 to replace an almost brand new tyre!
td4 Pure manual in orkney grey, auto wipers/lights, front fogs, spare wheel. carmats4u mats, travall dog guard. Collected 30/03/12.

That ain' t too bad , I once fitted some 255/35/18 pilot sport run flats to my BMW
Dove 1 mile & ran over some nails both new tyres punctured
£287 each & did 1 mile
Run flats could not be repaired , so say BMW
Luckily I have ordered the RR wit unlimited tyre cover
SD4 Arrived, Fuji , 20" style wheels, Privacy glass, Front fogs, Auto wiper and Auto Lights, Black leather
