As I pulled out of my drive this morning a lady was walking along the pavement, so I stopped and waved her to pass in-front. The front parking sensors were on as I'd just reversed, as she walked past the front it sounded like the Evoque thought she was radioactive with all the high pitched beeping going on!

Well have you checked it for scratches, it means she was less than 1m from the car
