is the dynamic variant's lower door portion clad in (body color painted) plastic? just as the prestige/pure variants have it in black? or is it metal all the way?

Yes, it's a plastic trim piece and it's a terrible dirt trap so wash behind it thoroughly

My plastic trims are being replaced as the top edge is jagged and unsightly. (to my eyes anyway, missus cant see what I'm moaning about)
