I bet they don't - and in line with other Apple consumer product launches of recent years it will arrive in the market inadequately tested and clearly not finished but it won't matter because the Apple faithful will buy it anyway.

Liquid Metal? Could be a bit hot to hold and will burn you quite badly if you can hold it, don't see those catching on - catching fire maybe. Also making it out of mercury won't be very clever either.....................

Apple have only just enabled WiFi hotspot on the IPad 3, several weeks after the launch and telling the UK it was a feature on launch. Oh and by the way, they say on the UK website it is 4g compatable, but it Is not here, only in the US and Canada.

I wonder if they will actually enable the UK I-phone 5 to compatible with the proposed European 4g services?

Keep an eye on Australia about the 4g stuff with the iPad - apple is being challenged.

Thanks, Filski, I picked up the story on the net, the Australian consumer organisation are quite correct in taking Apple to court over the issue. I am disappointed the same action is not being taken in the UK as I think Apple are giving a misleading description of the Ipad 3.

Having said that I am a big fan of Apple products and will likely continue to buy them, Apple TV and 120gb IPod Classic (for the car) are on the shopping list when I go to Houston! I wonder if they will put more memory on the IPhone 5?

I brought an iPad latest generation (I believe it isn't actually called iPad3) recently and TBH I'm disappointed with it and am glad that I still have my iPad1 as some of my apps will not run on the new iPad mainly Memory Map Navigator OS maps). As for the 4g I feel like I have been conned as I was assured that the version I bought would work anywhere in the world were there is 4g but it appears that I don't actually have it in my iPad now..........................

You have been conned Tim. Apple is the weathiest company in the world today together with an iconic brand and marketing that is simply the best.

Apple also seems to be following a well worn track where the company lose sight of the end customer's desire for a quality product at the right price. So now Apple charge premium prices for kit that simply isn't worth the money, isn't finished and comes with an unhealthy dollop of BS attached.

Steve Jobs had a reputation from being a tyrant but somehow managed to keep the company together and on the right-track - that steerage is missing now.

There seems to be more and more people around these days who realise that Apple are cynically fleecing them and exploiting the icon brand's desireability - the evolution of iPhone4 to iPhone4s being a good example.

My Apple kit has so far proved to way more robust and reliable than any of the Sony Viao's and IBM kit I have owned over the years.
My iPhone was the first phone I had that I got to access my emails straight out of the box - I never managed to get my Blackberry to ever download my emails for some reason, even the geeky sorts in the phone shop couldn't figure it out.
