Evoque and Freelander2 side by side - XFullFatTim - 18-04-2012 12:24pm

Not great pictures as I was parked in an NCP and came back to find the F2 parked beside me but it gives an idea of the height difference of the two cars

Tim

Here is my wife"s Freelander next to my Evoque, I had a bit more light! Evoque is quite a bit lower than Freelander. It is noticeable from the drivers seat too.

I had a brand new freelander2 SD4 as a loan car today, noticed the difference in driving. The freelander you basically sat on, where as in the Evoque you sat in it. The Evoque felt like is comforted you more, whilst sitting lower. interestingly the SD4 freelander felt so much slow than the TD4 Evoque, must have been the difference in the auto boxes I suspect.

That looks a lot lower in the picture than what it seemed like side by side in the dealership.

PigLauncher it is Iroko and Teak with cedar roller blinds. We had the original Victorian greenhouse restored by a specialist.

Are they the same length as well? Wondering if the Evoque will fit in the same garage as my current Freelander Smile

I think the Evoque is just a tad shorter not much in it though.

Freelander 2 is 4500mm, Evoque is 4355 or 4365 if it's a Dynamiic
