Operation Purenamic - spif888 - 22-02-2012 12:03pm

Well I couldn't resist.

I have had the car for 3 weeks and have all ready started the conversion process.

STAGE 1:
Changing the front grill from Brunel to Black

Next stage will be wrapping the side plastic trim and the rear plastic trim. Photos to follow

Ahhh! liking the conversion process! looks good.

I plan on ordering my grille soon too!

Are you doing the wrapping yourself?

I see your original grille is already on eBay Laughing

Looking good. The side trim wrap was very easy to do by the way - http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-Purenamic-or-is-it-Dymure-Pure-with-black-grill-and-trim?highlight=purenamic

Any other plans? - I'd still like to do something about the round exhausts and possibly the front bull bars.

I'll probably leave the wrapping to the professionals - even the grille was a challenge for me.

I would also like to do the front bull bar and the lettering when I pluck up the courage.

Hey, Where do you buy the black grill from and is it difficult to install??

Also - Are you planning on changing the exhausts to the dynamic ones/is that even possible?

I got the grille from Duckworths - it was £120. It was very straight forward to change - there is a video on YouTube that shows the entire process.

The Dynamic exhausts are a trim piece in the rear valance, they aren't special tips.

Is that rust I see??? Smile

Yes and the car was 3 weeks old, I'm not bothered as it is on the exhaust hanger bolt not on the body

Can you get the dynamic trim on a pure??
