I have just been looking on the website for a local non-franchise Land Rover outlet specialising in Defenders as I fancy changing mine for a low miles 3-4 year old TDCi Puma............. I was amazed to see the prices wanted on the website for used TDi300 90 CSW's. They have one for sale, Cat D rebuilt in 2003, 165,000 miles, Rimini Red at £8000
Makes me hopeful that my 78,000 TDi300 90 CHT converted to a Stationwagon by the same outlet might be worth somewhat more seeing as it has a galvanised chassis (fitted 4 years ago), a few off road bits of "added character" (they are priceless and unique!) and a hydraulic winch. Also has had a new cam belt in the last 6 months (it's second change, despite the miles it was due on elapsed time). Maybe I might be able to afford the nice SVX 60 Anniversary they have on their forecourt after all.
