Peckforton Castle Range Rover Evoque experience day - Westy - 29-01-2012 11:52pm Good evening I have some pictures from my experience day that i would like to post that are stored on my iPad and would like to share them with you all. I am currently on the forum on my iPad, can anyone advise me on how to do this, please be kind as I am not an IT guru, just a simple Brummie !! Any help would be appreciated RE: Peckforton Castle Range Rover Evoque experience day - dandavis1 - 30-01-2012 12:28am The iPad doesn't have a file system so I wouldn't be surprised if its not possible at all. RE: Peckforton Castle Range Rover Evoque experience day - XFullFatTim - 30-01-2012 03:37am open a Photobucket account and then go to the Apple Store (or down load it direct from photobucket) and download the photobucket app, this works for iPhone and allows you to post photos direct to your online host from the iphone, so like most iphone apps I have it may work from the iPad too. Once photos have been uploaded to photobucket you can then go to the photo and there is a set of options for copy/paste a link to add to forum posts, copy the link then open babyrr.com and start your thread and paste the link into it. When you upload the post then the link should end up showing a photo. It's all a mystery to me but if I can get it to work then anybody can! I have never tried it from an ipad but use it all the time from my iPhone RE: Peckforton Castle Range Rover Evoque experience day - Westy - 30-01-2012 11:38am Thanks for the advice, I will give it a go later RE: Peckforton Castle Range Rover Evoque experience day - DaveR - 30-01-2012 10:26pm Looking forward to seeing these as i will be booking myself into here real soon. Start off with a nice cup of British tea, a clean smart presentation on the product and the differences between the models, then we split into groups, one group for the off road drive experience, the other group off for the on road trial. From memory we had five to six dedicated cars for each experience, there were also cars for show, the shots around the tree. I drove a 3 door SD4 Auto Coupe diesel, the white one and it was awesome off road, by this stage I had ordered a car and was really pleased I had, it was effortless off road (with road tyres), this invloved a very wet forest stage around the castle with some very patient and mature guides. HDC was excellent, also in overide mode from cruise control paddle. We then came back, then after some tea we then split off for the on road experience, for those who have been lucky enough, this involved setting off a pre programmed route on the sat nav, with various waypoints, we stopped at a forest clearing half way and then we switched cars around. I was lucky I had a 5 dr Pure TD4 manual to begin with, then switched into a 3 dr Dynamic SD4 Auto, wow, the TD4 was fast and smooth, but the SD4 was like a rocket and handled like a car, it shouldnt have been allowed too, it was amazing. The photos are the off road cars, I believe these cars were a mix of models with various specifications, and please dont cry I believe they were not for resale, alot of them were going to die crash testing, what a waste All cars seem well built and very smooth Then it was back for some high quality lunch, share the morning stories, then off home with a big grin RE: Peckforton Castle Range Rover Evoque experience day - Daigriff - 31-01-2012 10:14am I'm booking in shortly, thanks for the info and photos. If anyone is going up to Peckforton it is a beautiful area with some lovely walks. Also there are some fantastic country pubs, my favourite is the Sandstone, only about 10 to 15 minutes from the castle...great food. RE: Peckforton Castle Range Rover Evoque experience day - SebM - 31-01-2012 10:22am Nice !!! More pictures please... in action... RE: Peckforton Castle Range Rover Evoque experience day - Westy - 02-02-2012 02:51pm With the help of tim I managed to download the app onto my iPad Please see blow some video of my LR experience day First video is the changeover waypoint at half way where you swap over vehicles to try something different, this was well organised by the LR team, (man with clipboard) from memory there were Si4, Td4, SD4 and all trim levels both manual and auto, you had to choose two, mine were td4 5dr pure manual and sd4 dynamic coupe auto "should be called pocket rocket" http://i1077.photobucket.com/albums/w463/westybabes/c5461073.mp4 The second is a video of our return back to the castle for some tea and cakes http://i1077.photobucket.com/albums/w463/westybabes/bd4ac703.mp4 This was back before Christmas, I can thoroughly recommend anybody interested in Evoque or other LR products to look into these experience sessions, no other manufacturer offers both on and off road testing like this. Makes the decision easier however doesn't manage the delivery frustrations unfortunately, as it only makes you want an Evoque sooner.
