Loaner - LR2? - lngrn36 - 24-01-2012 12:52am http://www.flickr.com/photos/67601049@N00/6751842659/ What is this vehicle? I know LR, but what do long time LR people call it? LR2 is this an inexpensive LR to keep around for task that you don't want to use these really nice LR for? And obviously I need help finding the easiest way to post photos that have a preview. Any photo upload help would be nice. I can't find a thread on posting a pic so that others can see it without clicking on hyperlink. RE: Loaner - LR2? - slee18 - 24-01-2012 04:41am Freelander2 for the rest of the world. Were kind of weird in the US. the evoque was built around that platform. There's button if you go to advance posting or preview post for linking from flickr and such. It's the one with the mountain and sun on the button RE: Loaner - LR2? - lngrn36 - 24-01-2012 01:44pm Man, the Evoque is a world ahead of this thing. It's a 2011 and has this old black and yellow stereo interface! If you lane change over 70mph you take your life in your own hands... Thanks, I did that but for some reason it doesn't work here? That what the little blue ? Is trying to do. RE: Loaner - LR2? - doug - 24-01-2012 10:37pm All so known as a "FreeLoader 2" RE: Loaner - LR2? - J77 - 31-01-2012 10:35pm The freelander is a very good car had two of them the last one being an SD4, with it having a higher centre of gravity you have to take care, you can't throw it around like the evoque. My old car on the dealer forecourt. Love my evoque but still miss this. Boy did I find that out the hard way. I'd spent a lot of time driving BMW's and slinging them around corners and roundabouts without a care in the world. Picked up a Freelander. A few days in and I'm turning right, around a roundabout, at speed. The Freelander soon taught me to take it more peacefully! RE: Loaner - LR2? - J77 - 01-02-2012 12:32pm Did the same when I first got my disco 3, after the first scare you soon adapt. Althought the freelander is a bit better than the disco. |
