HAVANA - MartinP - 23-01-2012 01:50pm
Havana is my preferred colour but having trawelled through the posts I cannot find anybody who has one or who has ordered one and only a handful of pictures exist. I understand the colour has only recently been introduced which could explain this but I am now starting to doubt my choice and I do not want to make a wrong decision. So if anybody sees one in a dealer somewhere could they let me know as I am happy to travel to see one in the flesh.

Havana and Barolo were only released for order spec in November. They are so new that very few are out there, Daigriff on here has a Barolo but no one has got a Havana yet.
I ordered Barolo in the hope my dealer might have one coming in, it looks like I would be the first through the dealer, the same might apply to Havana.

Havana looks brown but more a dark bronze colour. Suits evoque as shows the lines better like the lighter orkney. Quite a few on the line. Used on freelander as well. Does suit the evoque esp with black roof.

I did like the look of Havana and may have gone for it but obviously didn't want to wait.

It's a difficult one...an extra £500 I think on a 40k plus car isn't too bad. However it is a premium metallic and will look great for years.
I did originally choose Santorini black however this was replaced(temporarily I was told at the time) by Sumatra following the xrillic paint isue. Wasn't sure about having a potentially temporary colour so switched to Barolo after seeing it in the flesh (and falling in love with it) at the Evoque live events. It really looks good with the ambience (lighter) interior.
will Jo public know it's premium...probably not, but for me the finish and rich colour of the Barolo makes it worth the extra.
