Insurance - Barneyridge - 11-01-2012 11:47am As my car is about to arrive, I have done a few quotes with all the big names and the best quote was $1348 with CGU. I am already insured with them and made a claim with them. They were good to deal with, for an insurance company. The quote was for market value as they replace the car if writen off for first 2 yrs, also NCB protected, windscreen excess free and hire car. The most expensive was over $2200. What is everyone else paying in Australia? Still waiting on Progressive online to add the Evoque to their page as they are the cheapest I found for my current car. RE: Insurance - chiggy - 11-01-2012 12:11pm my current car is with RAC, and i generated an quote online with them and came up to about $880 - not bad considering I'm under 25, however RAC online generator didn't allow me to add options on - so not too sure what to do about that - maybe have to cal them up about it. AAMI gave me a quote of about $950 with an excess of $450 and hire car etc as well which is pretty reasonable considering I pay $1400 at the moment for my GTI - apparently too powerful for someone my age... go figure. Allianz is quite expensive - however I know that's LR's preferred insurer. Will get a quote from them as well closer to delivery date but it seems RAC may be the one for me - provided they also cover all the options I've added on and at an agreed value rather than market value. RE: Insurance - Barneyridge - 11-01-2012 12:25pm NSW (as well as the shire or god's country) must be the crime capital given the prices quoted, all over 30 year old drivers with 60% NCB RE: Insurance - RonnieNavani - 11-01-2012 12:35pm I got mine through AAMI - $1436; as a company! Realised company is more than normal insurance RE: Insurance - sethor - 11-01-2012 01:48pm I get similar quotes to you with RAC, goes down to $577 with a $1950 excess & up to $1099 with no excess on a Dynamic Si4 insured for $84,900. RE: Insurance - Aussievoque - 12-01-2012 12:59am My dealer got my insurance through Allianz for $700. NSW, Over 30, 3 year new car replacement, $600 excess, 60% no claim discount. Granted it's only on my "cheap" $70k pure but still pretty good I thought. RE: Insurance - mnd - 12-01-2012 01:06am Yeah i'm struggling to find anything under $1k for a Pure with a 30+ driver on rating 1. Currently withg Progressive but they will only give me a $67k agreed value but i've got $15k in options so i need something in the mid 70's. So far, TheBuzz have been the cheapest at $88 p/m with a $800 excess. Agreed value of $76k RE: Insurance - RonnieNavani - 12-01-2012 02:08am (12-01-2012 01:06am)mnd Wrote: Yeah i'm struggling to find anything under $1k for a Pure with a 30+ driver on rating 1. Have you tried AAMI? they seem to be the cheapest so far... Insurance - gead - 12-01-2012 02:59am 1100 from aami, and a frankly laughable 3300 from youi....38 y.o rating one....still cheaper than my last car with Shannon's |
