Screeching brakes anyone else have the same problem when applying the pedal lightly

No, but I do get a loud screech as I release the brake every time I move off, but I assume this is normal for an auto?

Sorry, have I done something to upset you? I can assure you my brakes do creak/screech as I move off/come to a halt, but as my automatic Mercedes did the same, I just assume its normal.
