EXCESSIVE BRAKE DUST... - jasondcalderon - 27-12-2011 09:04am Does anyone noticed an excessive brake dust residue specifically on the front wheels? As soon as I clean up my Evoque within maybe 15 to 20 miles of driving there is a lot of brake dust on the front wheels. I have had this issue before with a Mercedes C-350 and used some sort of code found in a MB forum back then to make the dealer change the pads. Does any of you guys have a "recall" part number or something like that to make LR change the pads? Gracias! Thanks! RE: EXCESSIVE BRAKE DUST... - defender_uk - 27-12-2011 10:51am no, no code, but i agree...i do think there is an enormous amount od brake dust...far more than I would ever normally get. RE: EXCESSIVE BRAKE DUST... - Mike - 27-12-2011 11:55am I've always had this on my disco 3,which is why I chose shadow alloys this time. RE: EXCESSIVE BRAKE DUST... - lngrn36 - 27-12-2011 12:17pm 500 miles, no big display of dust yet! Now 600 and I still haven't cleaned the wheels! I might take a pic, if you like, to show how clean they are. If that will help. RE: EXCESSIVE BRAKE DUST... - cjfp - 27-12-2011 06:10pm Too much use of the brakes?? RE: EXCESSIVE BRAKE DUST... - EVO PUNDITT - 27-12-2011 08:18pm Don't use them so much RE: EXCESSIVE BRAKE DUST... - jasondcalderon - 28-12-2011 06:05am Ok maybe I'll stop using the brakes all together! Anyway I'll be going to the dealer tomorrow to complain... Let's see what info I can get. |
