Phil, interesting comment about the DAB. In my FFRR I could not get decent DAB reception but when I did the maiden voyage of the Evoque from LPR to Stirling I found the same thing, continuous, unitnterupted DAB the length of the UK, even in places like driving up over Beattock Summit on the M74 where FM just dies and on the M6 in Northumberland driving between Lancaster and Carlisle I had flawless stereo. Even at home where I couldn't get a DAB signal in the FFRR I have crystal clear DAB on the Evoque radio. Pity the TV still doesn't get as good reception as the radio!

Hi Tim, I'm stunned how good the DAB reception is! Really great feature. So much better on long journeys.

Finally got round to washing (without lifting the passenger wiper up fully to avoid damage!), hoovering, treating the leather and removing the Dealer sticker from the rear window, and replacing the dealer tax disc holder with the "Evoque" one from on here. There are a lot of edges and shapes to clean so the microfibre Noodle mitt was pretty good for that, Great to see it all clean again (if not for very long) and the carnauba wax was holding up well. As it was it's first hoovering was interested by the mats (not premium!), funny little clips hold the front ones down on both sides, and definitely the drivers foot rest is likely to be a point of wear in the carpet as not covered by the mat (seen this on another thread too), rear mats have holes to clip down, but nothing to clip them into (there are clips in the glove box but I haven't looked to see if they can be attached. I'd happened to be in a shop doing a discount on "Meguires" products a while back so had picked up their leather treatment, went on nice, no residue and left the leather looking moist and shiny after a buff with some microfibre cloth, looked good for removing dirt and jean indigo too! Have to be a bit careful applying to the perforated leather not to get loads of treatment in the holes!

My DAB is really good, actually really impressed with the reception.

The east coast of Scotland is still in the 20th century isn't it? Maybe that is why you cannot get decent DAB Vinny

After some more normal (enthusiastic) driving at the weekend and more Motorway, i'm not expecting figures to be as good next fill, trip saying 33.2mpg at mo! Actually glad to see it's not dipped into the 20's driving it 'properly'.

Vinny,

It will be all the bamboo you have on your roof rails interfering with the antenna as you make your way to your public appearances at Edinburgh Zoo

By the way hope the colic has cleared up !
