How many miles now Phil?

Hi Tim, now passed 80000, would have been more like 90000 but I guess have to take some positives from The Covid nightmare.

My new one now has 4500 on it since 12th June, old one keeps on rolling just had some rubber pipes and hoses replaced before they degrade too much and leak. Was expecting a big quote from the local indie and got a bill for £43 for 3 hoses and fixings and that included labour and VAT! The twin turbo 240hp 4 cylinder Ingenium engine is very smooth and quiet even on start up on a cold morning. I do use the remote start on those days and let it warm up and warm the cabin too, doesn’t seem to hit the mpg too which I was expecting it to.

New Gear knob fitted as looking a bit tired (See beginning of thread for history of the gear knob!), Easy to remove with 2 Flat Trim removers, wedge between leather and Knob and a wiggle it pops off upwards.

Don't recommend the pulling off by hand method, the clips actually lock themselves in more if you simply pull.

New Battery fitted after a string of Warnings on the Dash and a telling red light thrown by the CTEK charger. Easy Job and next day delivery from Tanya batteries

Replaced the front pads for the second time.

They sure needed it!

Just to update 10 year service done, Haldex oil changed and filter cleaned, all for a sensible price of £440 inclusive of VAT.

Changed the Parking Aid Module in the Back Left Quarter after the Parking sensors failed, and the code reader returned numerous Medium Speed CAN bus errors. Thankfully a new second hand Module sorted all the errors and everything working again.
