Order Locked In? - gmaker - 11-04-2011 07:43pm

Does anyone know when their order will be locked, i.e. no more changes are possible. My dealer has told me that after early May I will not be able to make any changes. This is a bit of a pain as the 'Live' events are not until the end of May and early June and I was hoping to see the different colours in the flesh before having to finalise my order.

Any one been told otherwise?

Normally with Range Rover/ Land Rover 72-96 hours before build, so you should ask your dealer when the build date is. From the rumours I have heard first customer builds will be in August

Some items can't be changed once your order is submitted on the system. They has put out a memo to say what can and can't be changed. Also once your dealer has submitted the order you will be able to get an exact date.

As said, some items can tb changed right upto the last minute, although I've never heard as late at 72 hours, latest I've experienced is a colour change at 10 days prior to build

Found this ancient thread, and it would be interesting to hear how late people have been able to make changes to their orders?

Last thunday my dealer told me "No more changes possible". Is it right, that it is going to built this week? Smile *hope* (72-96 hours)

According to my Vista sheet my order which had a build date of 26/09 had a last date of order change given as 04/09 - which is exactly three weeks
