its a no no. Given she will be driving - that's why I'm going for a manual .

As a guess, as 'Drive' is the most used, they have probably made it the easiest to select without looking...i.e. just turn it all the way round and it's then in Drive. It's the same on my Audi.

Although there is a stop between D and S. Smile

Funny my wife won't drive an auto either and is another reason for the manual.
