Auto Dim Rear View Mirror. - The Valeter - 07-10-2011 05:34pm Can any one work out why LR have decided to make this an option given it appears on most or all the other LR products as standard? RE: Auto Dim Rear View Mirror. - griff - 07-10-2011 08:44pm Probably to make more profit RE: Auto Dim Rear View Mirror. - DynamicRRV - 07-10-2011 09:10pm It's with the lux pack is it not? RE: Auto Dim Rear View Mirror. - griff - 07-10-2011 09:15pm Yep RE: Auto Dim Rear View Mirror. - The Valeter - 07-10-2011 10:48pm (07-10-2011 09:10pm)DynamicRRV Wrote: It's with the lux pack is it not? Yes it is but if you don't want a Lux pack but do want an auto dip mirror it costs £155 for something that is usually standard. RE: Auto Dim Rear View Mirror. - DynamicRRV - 08-10-2011 12:17am Just checked my order and yes its included in the Lux pack. I also have adaptive xenons, blind spot monitoring & heated steering wheel. £45640 total.........not even checked that order since April! RE: Auto Dim Rear View Mirror. - cjfp - 10-06-2012 06:39pm Just checking - has anyone actually noticed their auto dim rear view mirror 'kick in' ? RE: Auto Dim Rear View Mirror. - mark_n - 10-06-2012 08:05pm It doesn't react instantaneously and takes a few seconds. It's an option because it is more expensive than a plain mirror including the electronics to activate it. Granted, that cost is likely small compared to the £155 option cost which includes profit and VAT. RE: Auto Dim Rear View Mirror. - cjfp - 10-06-2012 08:11pm Thx - I only ask as I haven't 'noticed' it yet - will have to look harder. |
