JLR tried unsuccessfully, as did BMW and Audi, to sue Land Wind and its co-copiers in the Chinese Courts for stealing their intellectual property. Chinese judges threw the cases out claiming that the cars were in no way alike......... and as they were only for sale in China it didn’t matter anyway.
