Haldex filter removal - Gte86 - 26-08-2017 10:09pm I have a 2011 dynamic si4. 58k and and has traction reduced fault. Only code stored is p1889. I want to start with a haldex filter clean and oil change but can't remove the filter as it catches the propshaft. Is there an easy way to change without removing prop? Car also displays low battery from time to time, has been to LR and has latest software Thanks in advance Tom RE: Haldex filter removal - Steve D - 27-08-2017 08:05am Can't help with the haldex question but do you get the low battery warning if just having the radio on with engine off? If so, that's pretty normal. If not and you are still on the original battery, perhaps its time for a replacement after 6 years? RE: Haldex filter removal - Gte86 - 27-08-2017 10:08am Mainly when engine is off. Sometimes it stays on for first minute or so of driving. Car also has meridian system if that makes a difference? RE: Haldex filter removal - yufeizhu - 09-09-2017 01:04am Use an 4mm allen key and fish from the right. The two screws are easy to remove, as long as your can locate it blindly. Clean the pump as well. http://babyrr.com/forum/Thread-Gearbox-Fault-Traction-control-reduced RE: Haldex filter removal - Gte86 - 10-09-2017 09:22pm Do you mean try to remove it at an angle? I wasn't sure how fragile it was so didn't want to force it |
