Use IIDTool to unlock features? - A1GSS - 02-12-2016 05:25pm Wondered if anyone could tell me what built-in model features that I can unlock using the IIDTool to alter the CCF? Thanks. RE: Use IIDTool to unlock features? - doug - 02-12-2016 11:11pm Quite simply none is the answer. RE: Use IIDTool to unlock features? - A1GSS - 03-12-2016 12:19am Really...? Boo. Was hoping I could turn on loads of interesting In Control stuff.. RE: Use IIDTool to unlock features? - XFullFatTim - 03-12-2016 10:03am If you read the Owner's Manual I think there are 3 options for pre2016MY /facelift cars that could be dealer enabled but 99% of dealers enabled them before delivering the cars. The 3 options used to be bolded or italisised in the manual. I don't know if they were changed at 2016 so all UK cars left the factory with them enabled. RE: Use IIDTool to unlock features? - A1GSS - 03-12-2016 10:10am Mine's a new one, so probably called a 2017 model year. RE: Use IIDTool to unlock features? - XFullFatTim - 03-12-2016 03:11pm Then you need to look through the handbook for items marked as being Dealer Activated on request. RE: Use IIDTool to unlock features? - A1GSS - 03-12-2016 03:52pm Yes done that. Nothing interesting that's not already turned on ![]() RE: Use IIDTool to unlock features? - majeric - 16-12-2016 01:31pm hey! dont suppose you could do me a favour and check if auto high beam assist is an option that can be enabled? I've got a MY16.5 - the hardware is in the car, but the option is not available. many thanks! RE: Use IIDTool to unlock features? - A1GSS - 16-12-2016 01:39pm Just checked with GAP. Looks like auto high beam assist is not listed in the Lighting sections under BCM Body Control. So I'd say no. RE: Use IIDTool to unlock features? - majeric - 16-12-2016 01:46pm Doom! Thanks for checking! |
