RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - AndrewS - 11-09-2011 07:53am Hi Everyone Just ordered a Red Dynamic RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - XFullFatTim - 11-09-2011 08:19am Welcome to babyRR Andrew, when it arrives we need photos and lots of questions! Welcome to all the new members who have joined recently RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - cjfp - 11-09-2011 08:24am @xfft - glad to see that your wifi reaches to the drivers seat to enable u to post whilst u live in the car for the first few days! Have u rigged up the microwave in there yet? RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - XFullFatTim - 11-09-2011 08:56am Live in it? Maybe if I had bought another FFRR, but even LR's day tent won't fit on the Evoque! It's still there on my drive, I've already checked at least 5 times today already! RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - Jimmy Millna - 12-09-2011 02:33am g'day all, Lovin this site as a one stop shop for all info on the car. (i swear i know more about it than my dealer at the mo!!) I ordered our evoque (will be the wife's car) back in late June with an expected build in Nov/Dec with a Jan 2012 delivery. The waiting game is killing me...especially as it was made longer by an apparent supply issue with the pano roof, but as if I wasn't going to spec a pano roof in Australia. Anyway nice to be a part of the site... On order - si4 auto Prestige, Fuji White, 19" style 5, Pano roof, Spirit interior, Park assist, Prestige tech pack, window tint, Adaptive dynamics, keyless entry. RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - Barneyridge - 12-09-2011 04:28am Hi Jimmy Millna, good to see another Aussie here. Sounds like our cars will be on the same boat, as those dates are what my dealer told me. It does not seem many people on here have gone the petrol. Did you choose the Si4 for performance ? RE: Welcome to babyRR.com! - Jimmy Millna - 12-09-2011 04:46am hi Barney, yeah i've noticed that most are ordering Diesels.. And yes I did choose the petrol over the diesel due to it probably being a bit "nippier" around town. Splitting hairs really - as the SD4 by all reports is great for performance. I think maybe some of our american and european cousins don't have access to a petrol in the prestige form therefore for people who prefer the prestige interior as I do have to have a diesel??? this could be a reason for all the diesels. (I think ive read that somewhere.) Anyway nice choice on the style 5 wheels. It was a point of debate for me. I was thinking about the style 8 20" but in the end changed back to the style 5 19". the 20" looked a little bling for mine with the style 5 having a nice understated classy look. Im in country victoria by the way so nice to have a fellow Aussie to "vent" with and bounce ideas off. |
