my "first" quote for the car, with nothing to compare, using the insurers who sponsor the website I own... £1097
Thats me 31 and missus 42, 10k miles, dynamic lux 2.2 auto.

Pretty hacked off with that, came home, bunged in the very same details into 'go compare'.... elephant.co.uk £382
Incredible difference.... so I'll be contacting my forum sponsors, because quite frankly, if they're not competitive, I don't want to endorse them!! Very Happy

Just something to look out for.... I'm with Admiral any they don't cover the panoramic roof. Apart from that, they have always been pretty decent to deal with.

They had beeen decent to me until they informed me they were taking £180 out of my account half way through my policy due to a non fault accident from a couple of years ago I had not declared to them. In fact i had declared it to them twice previously, eventually they back tracked but not until I had wasted a couple of hours and about £20 in phone charges sorting out their stupid mistake.

Next time its renewal time my money will 100% be going elsewhere.

Erm, I'm with Admiral, I specifically asked this question, and they said it was covered, infact, they said, "yes it's covered, all glass in the vehicle is covered."

Just renewed the Disco with Zurich. All mod cons, No excess, fully protected for £215. Might be worth a try.

£362 with Sainsbury's - includes Business use and kids under 16. (43, max ncb, garaged, no convictions etc)

First 6 months were with Privilege - changed from Disco 4 to RRE - who were very pleasant to deal with but wanted a lot more at renewal.
