RE: Second Service time already - MartinP - 25-02-2014 09:06pm Second service completed today by Likes (Hay on Wye) after 32,000 miles. Cost was £384.34. Everything well with the car. Original front tyres down to 2mm so will need replacing soon but rears are 5mm. Brakes - front 30% worn and rears 40%. RE: Second Service time already - trevd01 - 01-03-2014 12:39pm I have skimmed through this thread and haven't spotted anything about the LR fixed price service plan in the UK available on MY2014. £599 for four years. RE: Second Service time already - Evo-king - 01-03-2014 12:50pm You get it on new cars. Also some dealers doing it for £499. RE: Second Service time already - SiT - 04-03-2014 11:55pm Mine is due the two year service this month on 16.5K miles and will be looking to book into Team Valley Land Rover where it had its first service. Hoping on under £400 with courtesy car, will let you know how i get on RE: Second Service time already - MrNoo - 05-03-2014 01:40pm Had my second service done last week, cost £374.33 and they provided a Freelander as a courtesy car. RE: Second Service time already - jos - 05-03-2014 03:58pm second service 55.000 km 2 years old 580,-- euro RE: Second Service time already - KaDargo - 05-03-2014 04:18pm Mine's due in at the start of May (cheapest quote so far is £460 - Sussex) It does seem to be cheaper the further north of Watford you go - is it due to labour rates? RE: Second Service time already - XFullFatTim - 05-03-2014 06:14pm The thing about getting servicing done in further south is that there is much more competition between dealerships - they fight for your business a whole lot more than the Scottish outlets who are also charging hourly labour rates higher than in London..... which is one reason I try to be in London on business when a service is due, the company pays the fuel to get there and back, I pay for the servicing as it isn't a company car but I get a mileage allowance for using my own car to travel for work things like training courses and seminars RE: Second Service time already - m_101 - 06-03-2014 12:15am Agreed Tim about the Scottish dealers. I'm going to need to start ringing around to get prices off them soon but I'm also considering calling LR Team Valley and seeing what their price is as my parents are down that way so could just get it done one weekend when I'm down there, they seem to be nice and cheap compared to the dealers up here. Also supplying your own oil seems to be a good way to save a fair bit of cash! |
