I got a call from Emac last week, I initially thought they were going to try to sell me what I had already paid for. It turned out to be an apology for the delayed paperwork and a membership number to write down. They said the scheme had been a lot more popular then they expected and that they were waiting for cards to come from JLR to go out with the welcome packs in, probably, another couple of weeks.

They took my money on 10th May and that call is all I have had for £499 in nearly a month . I am used to being treated like this by the dealer - and I used to think it was just them - but apparently anyone even vaguely associated with JLR thinks it's OK to take large sums of my money without even the courtesy of an e-mail receipt.

Brian that was my concern. Give someone £500 and get nothing! Pretty poor really

I haven't received anything either. Pleased that I'm not alone. Not bothered too much as I don't expect to need the first service for another 9 months.

Laughing

Although it is a shame that so far they haven't extended it further.

I took the JLR offer and cancelled my dealer service plan, both with EMAC on the
9th May, heard nothing at all, had no money refunded or received any paperwork.

Have rung EMAC a week ago to be told, that they would refund my origional money within 7 days. Not received yet after 7 days, so currently EMAC have £1225 of my money for in excess of a month and I have received nothing in return.

The ownership of my Evoque has only been spoiled by poor customer service,at every turn.
