LPR - can you comment on the rumour that petrol engines won't be available in the first batch of sales ?

E-mailed the global brochure link posted elsewhere on here to Mrs Cuzza earlier today.
Her response, and I quote, "OMG I want the 5 door in white"
She's not due to replace her current car, a Jaguar XF, until March next year but having previously exchanged e-mails with James at LPR earlier this month it seems sensible to place a deposit with him to secure a car for when Mrs C needs one.
So, job jobbed as they say and, having spoken to James in person this afternoon I have done the deed.
Final spec (and colour!) to be decided when Mrs C finally gets to see one in the flesh later in the year.

Sorry, missed the question the first time around, apologies cjfp!
No, not been told that there will be a delay, however that is not to say that the rumor has been started by someone more informed than myself.
If I do hear anything then I will of course post it on the forum. I myself am looking forward to the petrol version, so hope it is rolled out with the diesels!

i hope there isnt a delay, i quite want the petrol one, although not slow, the 190 diesel will be similar to my current car i would like a bit more power.
